ABOUT THE ARTIST

My names Jay Skorupski. 

My art journey started as most of ours did, as soon as I was old enough to hold a pencil. I drew and colored on everything. Nothing was safe. From sketching Ferrari's and Porsches as a kid and making my own cartoon characters to making my way to illustration/comic art as a teen then onto oil paints. As a young adult, I landed in the automotive custom paint scene by chance. Like every creative, I never stopped the ultimate goal of chasing the perfect line, brushstroke, fade, etc. 

Fast forward 18 years I'm still here spraying and painting away trying to push my boundaries actually making myself better 1% every day that goes by. Take a look at my work and you can see the push for greatness is real.

Along the way, I've had the privilege to work with such people as Dee Snider of Twisted Sister and Joe Logano (Nascar) and some amazing companies as well such as Superior Autobody, March of Dimes, The US Marine Corp, Valvoline Instant Oil Change, Mar Candy, Miller Race Cars, DeBaise Bros Customs and many more.

The pursuit of Art is a never-ending thing, but one thing can say for sure, I'll never stop striving to be better.
